André Portilho is a partner at BTG Pactual, where he heads the Digital Assets division. With
over three decades of experience in financial markets, André established and managed
equity and foreign exchange derivatives desks in both Brazilian and international markets.
André established the first Digital Assets trading desk within a Brazilian bank in 2017. In
2019, he led the launch of ReitBZ, the world's first security token issued by a financial
institution. Andre also spearheaded the launch of BTG’s Crypto platform in 2022 and BTG
Dol in 2023, the world's first bank-issued USD stablecoin.
His career is defined by a constant drive for innovation and leadership at the intersection of
